Agricultural Policy Dialogue Western Balkans: Kick-off of second project phase

23 March 2023 - The second phase of the APD Western Balkans was kicked off in a workshop at the IAK Agrar Consulting in Leipzig on 28 February 2023.

With the support of the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) the project will stimulate the exchange between various stakeholders across six countries of the Western Balkan (Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia). The Standing Working Group for Regional Rural Development in South East Europe (SWG RRD) presents the counterpart in the region. Like in the first phase, IAMO experts will offer their key expertise on topics such as rural development and climate change. A team of IAMO researchers around Thomas Dufhues and Judith Möllers will participate in the upcoming 'Study on Rural Women in the Western Balkans'.
