POT4food - Potentials for improving the competitiveness of the agri-food sector in the function of sustainable economic development

Project description:
The main objective of the POT4food project is to help strengthening of the competitiveness of agri-food products in order to upgrade the ability of producers to adequately launch their products in the export market, and thereby to increase their incomes. The main output from the project is the valuable scientific research for improving the competitiveness of the agri-food sector. Special focus of this research will be on: sources of non-competitive agricultural producers, with special emphasis on the identifying of types of producers and agri-food products with lower level of competitiveness, as well as proposals for public institutions (measures of agricultural policy) and proposals for producers.
